my os is windows xp. I delete Internet Explorer.
I open a chm file with sumatra pdf.
But it open windows to save htm files.
I use firefox.

CHM viewer uses embeddable Internet Explorer control.

So if you deleted Internet Explorer, I can’t say what will happen but it’s not a supported configuration.
