good morning, please, I have a laptop and a desktop on which I have installed pdf sumatra, why on the laptop I see the preview of the files and on the desktop I can’t? what should i enable? thank you very much for your cooperation
PDF previewing is one of two system modify option at install time that needs to be installed into the registry , it is not possible to add in a portable version.
The Optional Index enhancement may not be needed for average user and naturally slows down searching as it decompresses files to look in contents. Similar the preview option on a slower machine can slow down browsing since the previewer needs to decompress each pdf as its selected.
I use portable version without either option on most slower laptops/netbooks for speed.
