Hiya, downloaded the reader OK, but the GUI does not look like the screenshot on Wikipedia.
Instead of a command ribbon along the top of the document, I have a little 3-bar burger-type dropdown menu in the top left hand corner.
Is there some way I can toggle this to have my commands across the top of the page in the traditional app style?

As described by @PortableApp it is switching between traditional menu and tabbed interface that makes the difference, there are two ways to change it, both need you to close SumatraPDF and restart it to see the change.
Switch off tabs as here
Or in Settings > Advanced Options > editor change
UseTabs = false
If you restart with no tabs and set that back on or to = true you can have both
However, its considered a buggy side effect rather than a feature.
