I was wondering if it’s possible to set the Frequently read page to remain in a tab after I open a file from it. Kind of like the new tab page from firefox.
I usually work with several files at once, so it’s very convenient to see previews of what I want to open, instead of guessing from the recent files list in the file menu.
I don’t think thats possible without a lot of recoding the source (you might wish to raise as a feature request on github ( https://github.com/sumatrapdfreader/sumatrapdf/issues )
However have you tried setting the cover or favourite page for your most frequent publications using menu>favorites using show list would allow you to see a full page from each as you jump down the list
to toggle favorites on/off quickly see Hotkeys for the favorites "show/hide favorites"
I too would like an optional tab to show the ‘Frequently Read’ page.
