The small application that I have in mind is: With a small python application I want to synchronize the reading of two documents. For example when I read page no x on the first document the other document to go to the page no y, and viceversa. That would be possible if in DDE comm interface there was a command that returns the status of the reader (file, page, (x,y) in page) that is displayed.
Why this is usefull? Well usally I write extensive notes that point to pdf documents. I would like to synchronize my pages (notes) with specific pages on the documents.
Is this possible?
